CAE USA INC C-GE-225 - Internship in Training Management in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Role and Responsibilities

This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree

Internship date : September 3rd to December 20th 2024

The role we are offering you:

By joining our Central Planning team in Global Engineering in Montreal, you’ll work daily with the Leader, Training & Development, Global Engineering, in the field of Organizational Training. You will have the opportunity to contribute to:

  • The training needs analysis;

  • The implementation of training programs responding to Global Engineering employees’ needs;

  • The trainings follow up.

Are you ready to:

  • Design a training plan for new employees based on identified

  • Create online training material using our learning management system – Workday Learning – (video tutorials, including writing scripts for narration, creating screenshots, recording voice-overs, and editing video/audio)

  • Manage training logistics:

  • Organize training sessions by coordinating with many instructors

  • Follow up on attendance

  • Request feedback for these training sessions

  • Provide recommendations for changes on training sessions or training programs

  • Provide recommendations for tools to use and guide employees involved in training

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English

  • Ability to create compelling and valuable content

  • Creative thinking skills

  • Self-starting skills and able to successfully plan, manage and execute multiple projects at the same time

  • Ability to be pragmatic, action oriented

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing a degree in human resources, industrial relations, educational technology, technopedagogy or any other related field - at least 1 year completed and/or with relevant experience

Location of the internship is CAE Montreal.

Internship will be carried out hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
