CAE USA INC C-CST-155 Electrical Design Intern in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Role and Responsibilities

This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree

Internship date : September 3rd to December 20th 2024

The role we are offering you:

  • You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for electrical design for the updates of full flight simulators.

  • You will partake in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements from both internal/external customers

  • You will define the simulator equipment configuration, produce equipment lists, wiring diagram and electrical system schematics required to stimulate this equipment in a simulation environment

  • You will participate in design activities between different engineering groups, manufacturing and installation

  • You will work in a team environment performing design at the system and component levels of flight simulators

  • You will work closely with the senior engineering staff to generate cost effective solution to meet our customer requirements

  • You will find and put in place innovative technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projects

    Our ideal candidate has :

  • Good knowledge of CAD systems and word processing software and spreadsheets

  • Proficient with MS-Office tools

  • Excellent team spirit and good communication skills

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset

    Preferred E ducation

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or related field

    Location of the internship is Montreal .

    Internship will be carried out in person.

    *All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years .

    *Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 12 weeks.
