The Advance Group has partnered with a growing company in Monroe, MI currently seeking a Journeyman Maintenance candidate for a Direct Hire opportunity! Maintenance Technician job duties include:

• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.

Requirements of Maintenance Technician include:

• Government or company-sponsored apprenticeship program or degree preferred.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Compensation for Maintenance Technician:

• Yearly salary is based on experience
