Description

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a production designer for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other key stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop a cohesive visual concept

• Create detailed production designs, including sets, props, costumes, and other visual elements, that align with the project's artistic vision and budget constraints

• Oversee the execution of production designs, working closely with set builders, prop masters, costume designers, and other production staff to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and on schedule

• Conduct research to inform design decisions and ensure historical, cultural, and thematic accuracy

• Provide creative input and problem-solving expertise throughout all stages of production, from pre-production to post-production

• Collaborate with the art department to maintain inventory of materials and supplies, and source additional resources as needed

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology to continuously improve skills and techniques

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Designer or similar role in film, television, theater, or related industries

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar tools

• Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and feedback to team members

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines

• A passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
